The ski-in/ski-out access is fantastic for families, but the noise from the courtyard disrupted our sleep.

the location is perfect for ski in and out, but lacking sound isolation.

Great views from the balconies, perfect for soaking in the sunset after a long day on the slopes. The kitchenette in the rooms is well-equipped for simple meals.
The design of the hotel creates an echo effect that amplifies sounds, making it hard to sleep with noise from the internal courtyard. Hot water supply ran out during peak usage, and some balconies were in disrepair with peeling paint and gray walls. the breakfast area suffered from a lack of essential items like fresh vegetables and adequate lighting in the rooms fell short of expectations.

One simple answer, yes or no?
The location is unbeatable, right at the heart of the ski station with breathtaking mountain views. the well-equipped kitchenette adds convenience for those late-night snacks.
Check-in and check-out times are inconvenient, with a late 5 PM check-in and a frustrating 10 AM check-out that disrupts travel plans.

our stay at sowell was great! the location is perfect, right at the slopes, making it super convenient for skiing. the staff, especially marina, stood out for their helpfulness, like when she quickly found sheets for our room at night. the kitchenette was well-equipped, too.
i'd say the breakfast could use a bit more variety.

Had a great time at Sowell! The ski-in/ski-out access is perfect. The staff were super accommodating. The kitchenette in our studio made meals easy, though I did wish for better breakfast options. a cozy spot with stunning mountain views!

The studio was small but neat, with a clean vibe and a great balcony that overlooked the beginners' slope. The furniture was cozy enough, and having a kitchenette was handy for quick snacks. It did feel a bit cramped, especially the ski storage area, but it worked well overall. The heater was decent, and I appreciated the comfy bed after a long day on the slopes. Just wished the kitchen setup had an oven instead of just a microwave and a tiny dishwasher.

Perfect ski spot with a sunny view!
Loved the location right by the slopes! The view from the balcony was super sunny, which made for great mornings. The room had a decent kitchenette, but I wished there was an oven instead of just a microwave. The breakfast was a bit pricey, so we ended up grabbing our own food. But really, the ski-in/ski-out access was unbeatable!

Our family had a wonderful two-night stay at Sowell Residences New Chastillon! The location for skiing was unbeatable—literally ski-in/ski-out, making it super convenient with kids. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when we needed fresh sheets late at night. The kitchenette was surprisingly well-equipped for simple meals, and the large window in our room offered stunning views of the slopes.
The elevator was out of service on our last day.

Couple seeking adventure
The location was unbeatable, right by the slopes, we could just step outside and hit the mountain. The staff was nice,, they even changed our sheets quickly when our dog had an accident-no fuss, just smiles.
It wasn’t cheap,, but we felt it was acceptable for what we got.
